| If you would like to submit content to the Website please bear in mind the following guidelines. If you want to submit something to the website please email it to Graham at my 'home' email address gharper@progress-projects.com or grahh23@hotmail.com . (There is a strict limit on my school email account size) Keep file sizes reasonably small - less than 5Mb please! If you are creating a film you will find that the wmv format is far smaller than the avi format. You can make and edit your files easily using Windows Movie Maker which is FREE as part of Windows XP. Photographs should be sent as .jpg files. If you can please resize them to be no bigger than 800x600 pixels. We generally use Microsoft Office file formats for presentations. We have found that most members can read these ok. Remember to put pictures, movies and sounds etc in the same folder as the presentation BEFORE you insert them into your presentation. If you want to submit items using Microsoft Word (.doc files) that is OK but you will need to allow a little time for me to convert them into Web Pages! If your school doesn't have Microsoft Office and uses Open Office that is OK but you must save your files in Microsoft Office format first - this is a built in feature of Open Office - just click on File | Save As and then select the correct file type. There is a table of file types below. Note that can NOT accept .EXE files If you want to submit content to me as web pages please use all lower case for the file names, and for any pictures. (Use filename.htm NOT Filename.Htm) Make sure any pictures are in the same folder as your htm file so that all references to images etc are 'relative'. Also please resize your images BEFORE you put them into your web page - don't resize using the html code. DO NOT USE FRONTPAGE Extensions - they are not supported by our Web server.
