A Big step forward for Video Conferencing for our Project At last we have found a successful way of Video-Conferencing between the schools in the 'Come Together, Right Now' project. This involves using a website and a system called 'Flashmeeting'

All you need is a webcam (with microphone) and an internet connection (preferably broadband.)

See the News article published 8th March for full details and instructions.

Paco Visits St Lukes Paco visits St Lukes

This week (w/c 1st March) St Lukes School have been visited by Paco, the Headmaster from Spain. (This was part of another language project his school is involved in)

We were happy to show him some of our work.

He taught some spanish to our pupils and also played some spanish music on the guitar.

We were very impressed when he played in our Friday assembly.

Message from Paco
Good looking to the Cominius Project. Hasta pronto.

We have just a few photos. Click on the image for the full sized picture.

Submiting Content for the website Now that the Website is starting to be used to hold a lot of good content we need to be sure that we are consistent with the format of our work. Please could I ask everyone to read the notes in the new section I've added called Web Site Submissions and only send me their submissions using the correct file types. If we do this then we can be sure that everyone else on the project will be able to use all the work, and that there will not be any need for me to spend hours and hours trying to convert things!

Thanks Everyone!

Graham
